However, EA later claimed that Grubb’s story has “no validity”. The journalist sticks to his story though and doubled down on it: “Dead Space 2 was definitely being planned. It had a code name. And they aren’t making it now,” wrote Grubb on Twitter after EA’s claim.

Insider Gaming reported that Ubisoft has completely changed the remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. This game was firstly announced three years ago and was later delayed several times. The author had the opportunity to look at some footage, however, it was provided under the condition that it wouldn’t be shown publicly. The game is then described as being in early development with missing textures and assets and long before release.

Call of Duty is one of the most popular games in the world for nearly two decades. Statista released the monthly number of average concurrent players of Call of Duty HQ on Steam worldwide which looks at the player base since October 2022 until February 2024. The highest number, 223 thousand, is present in November 2022, which was the month of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 release. However, it dropped to just over 55 thousand in September 2023 and the release of the sequel, Modern Warfare 3, did not help very much, as it increased to just only 103 thousand. But that’s just Steam only, the game is also available on Battle.net and on consoles.
