Declaration

We declare that as the controller of your personal data, we comply with all legal obligations required by applicable legislation, especially the Data Protection Act and GDPR. Therefore:

  • We will process your personal data only based on a valid legal ground, primarily legitimate interest, contract fulfillment, legal obligation, or given consent.
  • In accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR, we fulfill the information obligation before commencing any personal data processing.
  • We will facilitate and support you in exercising and fulfilling your rights under the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
Scope of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing

We process personal data that you provide to us for the following reasons (to fulfill these purposes):

Providing Services, Contract Fulfillment

We need your personal data in the following scope: email, for contract fulfillment (e.g., sending access to an application, delivering online courses, delivering goods, etc.).

Accounting

If you are a customer, we need your personal data (billing information) to comply with legal obligations for issuing and keeping tax documents.

Marketing – Sending Newsletters

We use your personal data (email and name), gender, what you click on in the email, and when you open emails most often for direct marketing – sending commercial communications. If you are our customer, we do this based on legitimate interest, as we reasonably assume that you are interested in our news, for a period of 5 years.

If you are not our customer, we send you newsletters only based on your consent, for a period of 5 years. In both cases, you can withdraw your consent using the unsubscribe link in each email.

Advanced Marketing Based on Consent

With your consent, we may also send you inspiring offers from third parties or use your email address for remarketing and targeting ads on Facebook, for a period of 5 years. This consent can be revoked at any time through our contact information.

Photographic Documentation, References, Live Events, Workshops

With your consent, we may use your photos, references, feedback, etc., until you revoke your consent. We retain your personal data for the duration of the statute of limitations unless the law requires a longer retention period or we state otherwise in specific cases.

Cookies

When browsing our website, we record your IP address, how long you stay on the page, and from which page you come. We perceive the use of cookies to measure website traffic and customize website display as our legitimate interest as a controller, as we believe it allows us to offer better services.

Cookies for ad targeting will be processed only based on your consent.

Our website can also be browsed in a mode that does not allow the collection of personal data. You can disable cookies on your computer.

Security and Protection of Personal Data

We protect personal data to the maximum extent possible using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development. We protect it as if it were our own. We have implemented and maintain all possible (currently known) technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, damage, or destruction of your personal data.

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

Our employees and collaborators have access to your personal data. For specific processing operations that we cannot ensure on our own, we use the services and applications of processors who can protect the data even better than us and specialize in the specific processing. These include:

  • ActiveCampaigns – Communication application
  • SMS Gateway – SMS messaging application
  • Facebook – FB Pixel
  • Google – Google Analytics

It is possible that we may decide to use other applications or processors in the future to facilitate and improve processing. We promise, however, that in such a case, we will place at least the same demands on security and processing quality as on ourselves.

Transfer of Data Outside the European Union

We process data exclusively within the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection based on a decision by the European Commission.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data Protection

You have several rights regarding personal data protection. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us via email at info@fanaticgames.com. You have the right to information, which is fulfilled by this informational page with personal data processing principles.

With the right of access, you can ask us at any time, and we will provide you with a confirmation within 14 days about what personal data we process and why.

If something changes with you or you find your personal data outdated or incomplete, you have the right to supplement and update the personal data.

You can use the right to restrict processing if you believe we process inaccurate data, believe we process data unlawfully but do not want all data deleted, or if you have raised an objection to processing.

You can limit the scope of personal data or processing purposes. (For example, by unsubscribing from a newsletter, you limit the purpose of processing for sending commercial communications.)

Right to Data Portability

If you want to take your personal data and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed in the same way as when exercising the right of access – except that we will provide the information in a machine-readable format. We need at least 30 days for this.

Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)

You also have the right to erasure (right to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish, you have the right to it. In such a case, we will delete all your personal data from our system and from the systems of all partial processors and backups. We need 30 days to ensure the right to erasure.

In some cases, we are bound by a legal obligation and, for example, must keep issued tax documents for the period required by law. In this case, we will delete all such personal data that is not bound by other laws. We will inform you of the completion of the deletion by email.

Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection

If you feel that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to file a complaint at any time with the Office for Personal Data Protection. We would be very grateful if you first inform us of this suspicion so that we can address and correct any potential misconduct.

Unsubscribing from Newsletters and Commercial Communications

We send you emails with inspiration, articles, or products and services if you are our customer based on our legitimate interest.

If you are not yet a customer, we send them to you only based on your consent. In both cases, you can end the subscription to our emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in each email.

Confidentiality

We assure you that our employees and collaborators who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about personal data and security measures, the disclosure of which would jeopardize the security of your personal data. This confidentiality continues even after the end of our contractual relationships. Your personal data will not be disclosed to any other third party without your consent.
