Check out What Happened in the Gaming Industry in November!

November was a month of establishing new long-term partnerships. After completing several test assignments, we switched to long-term cooperation with 3 new clients. We are very grateful for them and we firmly believe that together we will achieve great goals. With the end of the year approaching, we are already preparing cooperation for mid-January and early February. At Fanatic Games, we are slowly preparing for new adventures that will come in 2022.

How to Successfully Cooperate with a Game Art Studio

Cooperation is very important in every workspace. However, cooperating with an external supplier is even more tricky. To successfully collaborate with the chosen team, you need to be honest, invest time in researching the right studio, and being aware of your budget.

Top Five November News

There is always something happening in the gaming industry. In this section, we’ve chosen five pieces of news we consider the most interesting.

In September, Sony announced the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves for PS5 and PC. This collection will include a remastered version of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Unfortunately, though, it will probably exclude one of its key features from the original Uncharted 4 game – the multiplayer, as the ESRB description suggests.

Nintendo has announced that they sold almost 93 million Nintendo Switch consoles as of September 30, 2021. In the last quarter, the sales were as high as 3.83 million units.

Half Life 3 is not in the works right now, Valve is focusing on releasing the Steam Deck console as soon as possible. However, that might change in the future, as Half Life: Alyx suggests the continuation of Gordon Freeman’s story.

Bandai Namco expects to sell 4 million units of Elden Ring in less than five weeks. It has come to light in the company’s Q&A with investors. If that happens, the sales are going to be higher than of Sekiro, which sold 3,8 million units after three months.

Sony Interactive Entertainment celebrated the first anniversary of the PlayStation 5 console and announced the most popular games. Fortnite came first, while the second place went to CoD: Black Ops Cold War and the third one to Fifa 21.
